Small switch. Big job. This Dodge Journey came into Luca Motors with the engine light on and fault codes P0520 and P0522. Our latest workshop video follows the oil pressure switch replacement and the work needed to reach it and put everything back together.
What the workshop video shows
The oil pressure switch is a small component, but access makes this a much bigger job. The footage shows electrical checks, work down in the engine bay, fitting the replacement switch and careful reassembly.
The lower and upper intake components go back into place, connections are resecured and the intake hose and engine cover are refitted. The edit brings these stages together so you can see the work behind the finished repair.
The scan recheck
The initial scan and component removal happened off camera. This video uses the recorded installation and reassembly footage, with selected action sped up.
After the codes were cleared, the immediate scan showed no fault codes detected at that check. That is the scan result shown at the end of the video; it does not document a road test or a running-engine oil-pressure verification.
